Grade Teacher
This is the start of my 14th year at St.Edward
School. I have taught 5th
grade or 6th grade for all of those years. In nine of those years I taught
both grades together as a 5th/ 6th multiage class. I am well versed in the
needs of 5th and 6th grader.
I have a BA in Geography and a minor in Education. I began my teaching
career in 1975 in
Western Australia
where I taught for 3 years. Upon my
return to the I work
in the
Central Kitsap School District, teaching 1st,
2nd and 5th grades over a period of 17 years. If you add those years to the
years here at St. Edward you can see I have over 30 years experience.
I am also vice principal here in the role of liaison with the PTSA. In this
role I work with the parents to create fundraising opportunities and
celebrations for our St. Edward's families.
