Admissions

Thank you for your interest in St Edward Parish School. We offer an exceptional academic program, a friendly, helpful community and a spirit of purpose which is contagious. We hope information available on our website will be of assistance and we look forward to working with your family.

Children entering Pre-Kindergarten must be 4 years old by August 31 of the current calendar year, and must be toilet trained. Children entering Kindergarten must be five (5) by August 31 of the current calendar year. Those entering first grade must be six (6) by August 31. A birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration. Students who are able to benefit from the programs provided by St. Edward Parish School will be admitted on a space-available, first-come, first-serve basis per the following guidelines.

Guidelines
  1. A student re-registering, having attended the previous school year. 
  2. A sibling of another child who attended St. Edward Parish School in the previous year and the family is in good standing in regards to participation, finances, and support of the programs and mission of the school/parish.
  3. A Catholic family who is registered, contributing and active in St. Edward Parish or one of the Rainbow Parishes that does not have a parish school. (A letter of recommendation from the pastor of the Rainbow Parish is advised.)
  4. A family who professes to be Catholic but has not been registered, contributing and active in a parish but desires a child to receive a quality Catholic education.
  5. Any family who desires a quality academic program within a Catholic Christian environment and to support the Christian way of life.
