                                                 Title 1 Program

Title 1 is a federally funded program designed to support students who have learning challenges in the areas of  Reading, Mathematics, and Language Arts.  St. Edward School's Title 1 teacher,  Ms.  Margaret Wilkins is a phenomenal educator with decades of experience helping students achieve their academic goals.

Students who need additional help are recommended by their homeroom  teacher for Title 1 assistance, based on  MAP test scores.  Ms. Wilkins uses a wide range of strategies to help students work toward their learning goals.

In addition, Ms. Wilkins offers a free summer program to St. Edward students who want to make progress in reading and math.  This helps eliminate the all too common summer slide that many students experience over the summer months.
